Swaddling?

I was just wondering how long is too long to swaddle. With my daughter (who is now 3), I think we stopped swaddling before 2 months. But, my baby boy just loves to be swaddled. He's 3 months and he still loves it. It just calms him down automatically. Wondering if this can turn into a bad habit?? What are your thoughts.
