![]() Stories of a Stay-at-Home MomSibling LoveIt has been so much fun to watch the relationship between Johnny and Julie lately. They are just major goofballs. Sure. They have their days when Johnny constantly takes things from Julie and Julie pushes her little brother. But, lately, they've been getting along pretty well and they're just so silly. They dance around the house or chase each other. They'll egg each other on in the car by screaming at the top of their lungs. Their favorite thing to do is hold each other's noses and talk in funny voices. It's pretty amusing because Julie is convinced she's going to marry Johnny when they get bigger. I keep trying to tell her that you're not supposed to marry your brother and that she'll find someone else to marry some day. Today I told her Johnny will find someone else to be his wife and she got so upset. "No, he won't! He's mine!" That kind of just made me smile. Julie also had a little friend over here the other day and of course Johnny was all in their business, taking toys and knocking things over. The little friend got annoyed and said, "No Johnny. You have to go away." I was taken aback when Julie actually said, "But he's just little. He just wants to play." That made me smile too. Today was the best because Julie really wanted to pretend to get married to Johnny. She dressed up in her Cinderella dress and Johnny in his suit he wore for his baptism at 6 months. It was a little disturbing that the pants were still falling off him. (He's still a little peanut.) So, I put on an old bridesmaid dress and performed the ceremony. They both danced to Elvis' "Can't Helping Falling in Love," which was Scott and my wedding song. They pretended to eat cake and we had a little tea party. Then they put on bathing suits, flew on an airplane and headed to their honeymoon at the beach. Then it was time for the groom's morning nap, so the wedding festivities were suspended.
