Stories of a Stay-at-Home Mom

What's for dinner?

Scott was away in Cincinnati the last couple days, so I haven't been making big dinners for just Julie and I. On Monday we went to Friendly's after her first swimming lesson. She did awesome, so I wanted to treat her. Then, yesterday I just made pasta and salad. Tonight, we're headed to our weekly church family dinner. But, this is a recipe I'll probably make tomorrow when my mom comes to visit. This crock pot recipe is courtesy of my Aunt Janice.

Crockpot pork chops

Ingredients: 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, garlic, three pork chops, 1 tsp. thyme, 1/2 cup dijon mustard, 1/2 cup apple sauce, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 cup white cooking wine.

Fry pork chops in oil. Place in crock pot. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over pork chops. Cook in crock pot on low for four to six hours. This recipe is great over rice.
