I immediately called my kids last night to see if they knew the young woman but also just to hear their voices and make sure they were OK. It's always my first reaction when tragedy strikes, especially when it's someone close in age to them. My heart goes out to Margo Davis' family. I can't begin to understand what they are going through.

The media's job is always to search for and expose the truth. It is always important, but especially so at times like this when rumors run rampant and stories from one person's mouth to another person's ear end up distorted in the retelling.
